Heartland Concerts is an all volunteer folk and acoustic music series, presenting the finest in local, regional and national performers in the Rochester, New York area.

ABOUT HEARTLAND MUSIC

2010 is our seventh year of bringing the best folk and acoustic musicians we can find to Rochester. Be it Blues, Country, Gospel, Cajun, Celtic or Bluegrass, Traditional or Contemporary, we want to reflect the amazing diversity of acoustic music.

Some of the concerts are intimate affairs in our living room, where you can get to know a new artist without the barrier of a stage and sound system. Our larger concerts take place at Harmony House, thanks to he support of the Chorus of the Genesee. Harmony House is a beautifully restored Grange building in Webster, NY and is the home to many other musical ventures and a perfect place for our series.

We are an all volunteer organization (volunteers get in free!) We have a great group of interesting people who make the whole thing work, but we can always use new people. There are chairs to set up and take down, goodies to bake, phone calls to make and innumerable little things that need to be done to make a concert a success.

If you want to help, please go to our Volunteer Page for details.
